Spring spruce−up at Brooklyn Bridge Park

Grimebusters polished up on the elbow grease and helped transform an eyesore into a sight for sore eyes during a cleanup at Brooklyn Bridge Park in DUMBO.

Armed with brooms, trash bags and plenty of cheer, mom, dad and the kids teamed up with like−minded eco−buffs to spruce up the emerald empire during a beautification day, organized by the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy.

The group will conduct similar clean−ups each Tuesday through May.
