Heavily armed police officers were called to West 6th Street in Gravesend Tuesday morning when a domestic dispute ended with an area man barricading himself inside his home with a gun.
Officials said that the entire ordeal began on Mother’s Day when the unidentified male and his girlfriend had an argument.
When the woman went back to her boyfriend’s apartment to pick up some things on Tuesday morning, the two argued again.
That’s when the tenant allegedly pulled a gun and threatened to shoot her.
The woman called police, but when cops from the 62nd Precinct arrived, the man had barricaded himself inside – reportedly with the gun – and refused to come out.
Cops called the NYPD’s Emergency Services Unit.
When the helmeted, suited−up soldiers showed up at the man’s front door, he immediately threw open the door and surrendered.
