Patriotic students lifted their voices heavenward and sweetly serenaded the heroes during a 9/11 tribute at Junior High School 51.

The commemoration featured renditions of popular songs, including Cyndi Lauper’s “True Colors” and “Life Uncommon” by Jewel.
