FIDO in Prospect Park welcomes all pets and their owners to the annual blessing of the animals at 7:45 a.m., October 4 at Prospect Park.

Father Murphy (pictured, blessing a neighborhood pup) of St. Saviour Church, Eighth Avenue & Sixth Street will pronounce the yearly blessings upon our animal companions during the “October Coffee Bark.”

FIDO will serve coffee and cake, as well as biscuits for the pets. Off leash hours will be until 9 a.m.
