A distinguished roster was in attendance when members and supporters ushered in a new slate for the Murray H. Lebowitz Post 129, Jewish War Veterans, with an officer installation in Bergen Beach.

Kings County Commander Arthur Feigenbaum inducted David Glass as post commander, and Robert Rosenthal and Arthur Pupkin as junior vice commander and senior vice commander, respectively, during a pomp-filled ceremony at Temple Sholom of Flatbush, 2075 East 68th Street, attended by State Senator Marty Golden and Patrol Borough Brooklyn South Assistant Chief Joseph Fox.

Former President Sylvia Elgart installed Helen Lowey and Leila Bloomfield as co-presidents of the Ladies Auxiliary.
