Come to the Brooklyn Food Coalition Winter Party on December 10 from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. at 388 Atlantic Avenue, in the Boerum Hill section of Brooklyn.

Toast Jan Poppendieck and the release of her new book Free for All: Fixing School Lunch in America and celebrate the BFC’s first six months of community organizing.

Join in for dinner, drinks and music along with a chance to celebrate the inspiring movement to make tasty, healthy and sustainable food available to all.

Food supplied by Slope Farm, Red Hook Farm, Sahadi’s, Heavenly Rest Cafe and Emigre Gourmet.

All are welcome - the cost is based on a sliding scale, $5-$50. All proceeds support the Brooklyn Food Coalition.

For additional information call 917-693-3155 or e-mail info@brooklynfoodcoalition.org.
