Parishioners felt the spirit of the holy night during a living Nativity at the New Utrecht Reformed Church in Bensonhurst.

Celebrants assembled outside the house of worship, 18th Avenue and 84th Street, for the annual presentation of the story of Jesus Christ.

The faithful took center “stage” in a mock stable constructed on the church lawn, complete with lighting and sound effects, dressed in Biblical costumes representing Mary, Joseph and the shepherds.
