Community cheer and the illumination of a festive fir ignited the spirit at St. Ephrem’s Church, where students and staffers joined festive forces with their neighbors to usher in the holidays.

Area residents and leaders flocked to the house of worship, 929 Bay Ridge Parkway, for a program of celebration, which included caroling and the lighting of a majestic pine tree.
