The Bensonhurst West End Community Council(BWECC) will hold its next meeting, January 25, 8 p.m. at the FIAO Beacon Community Center at Seth Low Intermediate School 96, 99 Avenue P between West 11th & West 12th streets.

Meet the 62nd Precinct’s new commanding officer, Deputy Inspector James Rooney, Brooklyn South’s new replacement for Inspector John Sprague, who has taken command of the 66th Precinct in Borough Park.

Additionally, Assemblyman William Colton’s letter writing campaign to re-instate Student Metro Cards, andscreeching of D trains at the 26th Avenue El will be on the agenda.
