McKinley Park glows with good cheer — thanks to state Sen. Marty Golden (R-Bay Ridge).

The big-hearted pol ignited the seasonal spirit by organizing a tree lighting at the park on Fort Hamilton Parkway off Bay Ridge Parkway, complete with Yuletide caroling, hot chocolate and a visit from Santa.

The occasion, said Golden, was an opportunity to spread the word about Brooklyn’s grace.

“During this season, and all year, residents of our community should join together in the Christmas spirit and exhibit good will to serve the most needy,” he said.

Visitors also dropped off gifts to boost Golden’s annual drive for the United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation.
