62nd Precinct

Bensonhurst—Bath Beach

Pushing the limit

Cops cuffed a man who they say pushed another person to his death off a 76th Street roof on Aug. 24.

Witnesses said the accused shoved the victim while atop a building near the corner of New Utrecht Avenue at 7:55 pm. The victim fell to the sidewalk four stories below, and died shortly afterward of blunt trauma to the head and body.

Tracked down

Police say they caught a man red-handed with two stolen navigation systems on 71st Street on Aug. 22.

Authorities allege that the accused crook dropped a bag containing the two tracking devices at 7:55 pm when police began pursuing him near 15th Avenue. Two nearby residents claimed that the devices belonged to them.
