Police are looking for a man they believe shot a cab driver in Canarsie on Oct. 3.

Cops say Terrace Jones waited until the driver dropped off his female passenger on 102nd Street near Seaview Avenue at 4 am, and then shot him through the cab’s side window. The driver was transported to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition, according to authorities.

Police have released a photo of Jones, whom they say is 6 feet tall and 165 pounds, in the hope the public can help authorities locate him.

Anyone with information regarding this incident or the whereabouts of Jones is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577–8477. The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
