Police are asking the public to help them find a man who broke into a Fourth Avenue pizzeria in Sunset Park on May 17 and stole $400 in cash from the register.

Video shows the man sliding under the gate of the restaurant, Spiro’s — between 35th and 36th streets — at about 4:30 am, and then removing the cash from the register before fleeing in an unknown direction.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577–8477 or at (888) 577–4782. The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577. All tips are confidential.
