Man wanted for sex abuse on train ride through Bath Beach

Police are searching for a man wanted for questioning in connection with a May 25 sex-abuse incident that occurred on a Manhattan-bound D train, near the 25th Avenue station in Bath Beach.

The perp approached another man around his age on the train at around 3 am and touched his groin area, police said.

The groper is approximately 55-years-old and 5-foot-9, with brown hair and partial baldness, according to the report, which also said he was last seen wearing a maroon T-shirt, dark-colored sweatpants, and dark-colored sneakers.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577–8477 or at (888) 577–4782. The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577. All tips are confidential.
