Batted up

A lout smacked a woman on the head with a metal baseball bat on Third Avenue on June 7.

The assault occurred between 67th and Senator streets just after 2:30 pm, and left the woman with pain and bruising, according to the report.

Cashed out

A pilferer stole $1,200 from a car parked on 62nd Street on June 4 after he broke the driver’s side door of the car.

The vehicle was parked between 12th and 13th avenues, and the thief stole the cash from it around noon, cops said.

Open door

A thief stole a screen door off its hinges on a 77th Street home on June 7.

The theft occurred just after 9:30 pm between Fort Hamilton Parkway and 10th Avenue, police said.

Face palm

A pair of punks struck a man on the face, causing lacerations and bruising, on Third Avenue on June 10.

The assault occurred at 81st Street just after 3:15 am. Emergency medical personnel transported the man to Lutheran Medical Center for treatment, and the perps fled on foot in an unknown direction, according to the report.
