Welcome and bienvenue to Antonia (Toni) Yuille Williams. She has been elected chair of the Board of Directors at the Brooklyn Arts Council. Currently, Standing O pal Toni is the Director of Regional and Community Affairs, Corporate Affairs for Con Edison Company of New York, Inc. and most recently served as vice chair of the arts council’s board of directors.
“We’re thrilled to see Toni step into this new leadership role,” said Charlotte Cohen, executive director. “Toni’s experience, connectivity, and insight into our borough have already been invaluable, and it is both natural and fitting for her to take the helm.”
Toni added her joy at the nomination and said, “It is truly an honor to be elected to lead BAC’s Board of Directors.”
Toni succeeds Dr. Thomas F. Schutte as the chairman, who will continue in the capacity of an emeritus member.
