Camera snatcher

A lout looted a man’s car on Kings Highway on Dec. 13.

The victim told cops he parked his van to get food when the sneak thief got in through an unlocked back door and bagged thousands of dollars worth of camera equipment at E Second Street at 2:47 pm.

The bandit then fled the scene, but was caught on surveillance cameras, according to cops.

Booze bandits

Police arrested a man who they say burglarized a commercial building on Avenue U on Dec. 11.

The suspect allegedly forced his way into the building near E. 12th Street at 9:15 pm through a rear window and stole $4,000 from the front desk drawer.

Video surveillance caught the suspect in the act and police said they found tools at the scene.

He was arrested on Dec. 13 at 6 pm and brought to the precinct station house.
