Brooklyn’s baseball Panthers, pictured, went on to win the Kiwanis 2008 15-16 year division championship in three games against Parkville, a top notch team in their own right.

The Panthers, part of the Joe Torre East Highway Little League, lost the first game during an impressive pitchers’ duel, but battled back to win the second in extra innings, 5-4, and the final game, 12-6.

Congrats to the new champions.
