Blockbustin’

The Blockbuster Video on Fifth Avenue was busted on July 30.

A thief ran into the building, which is at 15th Street at about 8 pm, and ran off with 49 DVDs, worth $1,225.

Surveillance cameras caught the whole thing — suitable for an episode of “Law & Order.”

Movin’ out

Someone stole thousands of dollars in pricey gadgets from a woman who just moved to the neighborhood — and she suspects her movers.

The woman hired the company to move stuff into her home on 11th Street, between Fifth and Sixth avenues, on July 17. Eight days later, the 48-year-old victim realized that some items were missing.

She called the company, and some of the goods were returned.

But a microphone, an iPod, two diamonds, other musical equipment and $450 were not returned.

Auto spree

Car crooks returned to their usual shenanigans in Park Slope last week:

• Flatbush Avenue near the Prospect Park Zoo was once again a hunting ground. Sometime between 2 am and midnight on July 27, a thief stole $2,900 worth of audio equipment from a white Ford Windstar parked there.

Then, at around 7:30 pm on July 30, a villain broke into another car near the zoo and stole two Blackberries, two watches, earrings, and a necklace.

The next few days were bad for Hondas:

• On July 30, two perps stole the tires off one woman’s Honda that had been parked on Fourth Street. The 56-year-old victim was coming back from a jaunt in Prospect Park at around 11:30 pm when she saw the thugs committing the crime near Sixth Avenue.

• Two days later, thieves stole a Civic packed with $255 worth of beach supplies from a spot on Fourth Street between Eighth Avenue and Prospect Park West. The victim had parked the car around 2 pm that Friday.

And then there other car crimes:

• On Aug. 2, a perp broke into a Hyundai Sonata parked outside the Bank of America on Flatbush Avenue near Bergen Street. The villain stole camera equipment, a $2,000 video camera, four soccer balls, and an Adidas gym bag at around 4:45 pm.

• On July 31, a crook stole a laptop and wallet from a car parked on 11th Street between Second and Third avenues at around 6 pm.
