Here he is, folks — Zippy, a fox terrier that our eagle-eyed photographer Tom Callan captured this morning as he set out for his morning walk.

Most humans were pleased that the Blizzard of 2011 never materialized, but looking at this photo, we couldn’t help but be disappointed that Zippy didn’t get to make full use of his little booties and devil-may-care spirit.

Sure, he got a nice walk from best friend Eliza Pepper, who lives on Joralemon Street, but call us snow-mad romantics, but Zippy would’ve looked better in a blizzard.
