A bruising bandit broke through the front window of a Staten Island woman’s car and took everything he could find on July 14.
It was a perfectly timed robbery, as the 40-year-old victim said she parked on Park Place between Carlton and Vanderbilt avenues at 11:30 am. When she returned just an hour later, flash drives, a wallet, a cellphone, papers, keys, $140 and debit cards were all gone from her GM Safari.
A super-stealthy burglar hit a Prospect Place apartment on July 13, making off with roughly $1,200 worth of electronics. And he did it all in broad daylight.
The 24-year old victim said he left his apartment — located between Underhill and Vanderbilt avenues — at around 9 am. When he returned at 7 pm, he found a fire escape window open, and his iPad, two laptops, Xbox 360 and his DVD player gone.
Burrito-lovers beware! A pick-pocket made off with an iPhone while his victim sat unsuspectingly at the Burrito Bar on Flatbush Avenue on July 17.
The victim said when she arrived at the Mexican bar/restaurant — between Prospect and Park Places — around 6 pm, she hung her purse from her chair.
About an hour later, $17 and her phone were gone.
