Cold case

A 23-year-old man who stabbed another person in the torso last year on Duffield Street is now seeing his day in court, police said.

The suspect was arrested for stabbing his victim twice with a knife near Myrtle Avenue on Sept. 12, 2012, at 12:58 pm, causing injuries to his abdomen and diaphragm on both sides of his chest.

Close to home

A man attempted a bizarre knife assault near the Metrotech Center offices — where The Brooklyn Paper is located — on Aug. 26, police said.

The suspect showed a knife and told his victim that they were going to “settle things like men,” at 9 am, according to the report. The victim grabbed the knife out of the suspect’s hand and tried to push the attacker away, giving him a cut in the process.
