The Moroccan American House Association celebrated its third year anniversary on March 23 with a gala at the Bay Ridge Manor.

The association used the occasion to honor several individuals for their contributions to the Bay Ridge community.

Honorees included Mary-Ann Walsh, who has volunteered with the Bay Ridge Community Council since the 1970s, Dr. Ahmad Jabar, founder of the Arab American Association of New York, newspaper columnist Larry Morrish, and several local Arabic teachers.
