Police are asking for the public’s help finding the man they say stole electronics from straphangers riding the B and Q trains in Flatbush in early March.

Authorities say the suspect stole a cellphone from a man when the B train stopped at Church Avenue and E. 18th Street at 1:30 pm on March 9. Just a few days later, the same man stole another commuter’s computer when the Q train stopped at Church Avenue and E. 18th Street on March 11, according to cops.

Police say the suspect is 5-foot-6 and weighs 160 pounds. He has short black hair and was wearing blue sneakers at the time of the robberies.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577–8477. The public can also submit tips by logging onto www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting tips to 274637 then entering “TIP577.” All calls are strictly confidential.
