Cops are on the lookout for a man who they say groped a woman on the subway last Tuesday morning, according to a report.

The victim, a 26-year-old woman, told police she was on a Coney Island-bound Q train at 8:15 am on July 21 when the alleged attacker got on at the DeKalb Avenue stop Downtown, sat down next to her, and began rubbing her thigh and crotch over her clothes, police said.

The woman managed to get away from the alleged scumbag and take a photo of him, cops said.

Her unhappy snap shows a guy with black hair, wearing sunglasses, a blue and white striped V-neck T-shirt, tan shorts, and carrying a black Adidas sports bag, according to a report.

Police ask with information regarding the incident to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577–8477. The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577

Reasonable discourse

stand your ground from nyc says:
attention all citizens: savages like this do not belong in society. but the most he will get even if processed thru our revolving door justice system is a slap on the wrist misdemeanor. if u ever witness this happen DO NOT call the useless NYPD, take the law into ur own hands and beat them unconscious. its the only way they will learn. just think this can happen to your mother, daughter, sister, wife, or any woman and is unacceptable. beat them mercilessly, even if it kills them. PEace!

Something smells from Fishy says:
There are a lot of sickos out there and yes the 'justice' system is a joke, but those sickos also include people that falsely accuse others. Where are the witnesses to this rush hour incident? This alleged gropper looks like some dude sleeping and not someone that just molested a fellow passenger. You grope a woman then just sit and pose for a pic?

John Wasserman from Prospect Heights says:
I hate to be the one to point this out, but one can tell, simply by the clothing that this is most likely the groper in question.
Pardon the interruption.
