Say cheescake! Pols turn out for Brooklyn’s most-filling fund-raiser
Tons of funds: Every year, Steve Cohn, left, holds a fund-raiser at Junior’s Restaurant Downtown where a who’s who of Brooklyn comes to see and be seen. The best part is everyone that shows up gets a free cheescake! Let’s see who showed up at this year’s bash on Friday, Oct. 30.
Say cheescake!: Here’s Chaim Pollack, Letitia James, and Gary Schlesinger sharing a laugh.
Hel-Liu to you: Borough President Adams and and former city Comptorler John Liu.
That’s good coffee: It wouldn’t be a party without former Borough President and Brooklyn legend Howard Golden.
Breaking bread: Golden enjoyed breakfast with Ed Townes, Mike Armstrong, and Ralph Perfetto.
On the money: City Comptroller Scott Stringer gets serious with Jake Korn.
Paper boys: Wow! It’s Brooklyn Paper founder Ed Weintrob with Editor-in-Chief Vince DiMiceli, apparently doing a damn good immitation of Ed Weintrob.
It’s the breakfast of champions!
Democratic Party stalwart Steve Cohn held his annual pre-election day fund-raiser at Junior’s restaurant Downtown on Friday, and as usually, the stars of Brooklyn — and citywide —politics came out in droves.
The fund-raiser, a tradition for as long as anyone can remember, brings together pols from far and wide and is considered a veritable Who’s Who of Brooklyn.
This year’s event was no different, and our photographer was there to capture all the action.
