Cops release video of Owl’s Head Park slaying suspect

Police released video of the man they believe beat a Bay Ridge woman to death in Owl’s Head Park on Sept. 29.

Surveillance footage shows the man walking on Second Avenue toward the park with Jennifer Cohen, who was found dead there later that morning.

Police discovered Cohen with severe head and face trauma, and a purse containing hypodermic needles nearby, officials said.

The suspect is 5-foot-8, about 175 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black jacket with white trim, black shorts with white trim, dark sneakers, and a dark baseball cap, police said.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577–8477. The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at or by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
