Big heist

A brute busted into a 62nd Street storage facility on March 10 and made off with $20,000 in construction gear.

A witness reported seeing a man cut locks and chains to the entrance near Fort Hamilton Parkway at 3:30 pm. The thief unloaded high-tech wrenches and drills into a nearby car and fled the scene, according to a police report.
