Brooklyn Paper Radio returns today at 3:30 pm and gets to the bottom of what went down at DNA Info, the badly named local news website that was suddenly closed earlier this month by billionaire owner Joe Rickets.
Joining Brooklyn Paper editor-in-chief and host Vince DiMiceli in-studio will be freelance journalist Ross Barkin, whose Columbia Journalism Review piece on the closure likened it to the end of community journalism as we know it, and former DNA Info reporter Noah Hurowitz, who played a big role helping organize a the union that some say was the downfall of the company run by a person known to be against organized labor.
