Police are hunting for some bruiser who pummeled a guy and broke his nose inside The Woods bar in Williamsburg last month.

The sports-loving fiend wearing a white pinstripe New York Yankees jersey started throwing punches at the 23-year-old victim unprovoked around 1:45 am on Sept. 8 inside the S. Fourth Street spot, according to cops, shattering his nose and giving him a concussion.

The brute fled the watering hole following the attack, which the victim reported to authorities the same day, according to a Police Department spokeswoman, who said detectives are now turning to the public to help them locate the suspect.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577–8477. The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577. All tips are strictly confidential.

Reach Deputy Editor Anthony Rotunno at arotunno@cnglocal.com or by calling (718) 260-8303.

I bet he’s a democrat. Williamsburg is too scary, that’s why I never venture out of Bay Ridge.

@Henry Ford From Bay Ridge. Nah. He's one of your people, he's either a guy from Jersey, maybe Staten Island or Bay Ridge and discovered a place safe for non-hipsters. He smells of B&T people.

Henry Ford from Bay Ridge says:
Democrats are the ones getting their noses broken. Patriotic Americans are the ones breaking noses of sniveling cowards and traitors.
