Police found the woman lying on the road with wounds on her head and body near Emmons Avenue at about 8 pm, and Emergency Medical Services rushed her to Coney Island Hospital, where was pronounced dead, authorities said.

Elina Solokov, 45, of Ocean Avenue between avenues T and U, was crossing Nostrand Avenue outside the marked crosswalk when the driver hit her with his 2015 Dodge Durango and ran over her, according to police.
