Who said doing your civic duty isn’t sweet?

Brooklynites who go out and vote on Tuesday can then grab a 68-cent slice of famous cheesecake from Junior’s Restaurant in America’s Downtown, which is offering the deal to celebrate its 68th year in business.

The deep discount on the eatery’s iconic creamy dessert is a nod to its opening on Election Day in 1950, according to Junior’s bigwigs, who in the decades since have welcomed such notable national politicos as former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton to their Flatbush Avenue Extension diner at the corner of DeKalb Avenue — where Brooklyn Democratic Party boss Frank Seddio hosts an annual blue party breakfast each year.

Those craving a slice must purchase a lunch or dinner entree to get the discount — and should, but technically don’t have to, cast their ballots first.

And the deal on the “World’s Most Fabulous Cheesecake” isn’t restricted to the Kings County location, which is now run by the grandson of its founder Harry Rosen, whose family has operated an eatery in the space since 1929. Junior’s outposts in the outer borough of Manhattan will offer the sweet special, too.

Get your 68-cent cheesecake at Junior’s [386 Flatbush Avenue Ext. at DeKalb Avenue in Downtown, (718) 852–5257] on Nov. 6.

It's a cheesy deal. First you must buy a meal to get the discount cheesecake. But I'm on a diet!
