A woman was found dead in a Cypress Hills hotel Saturday morning.
Cops found an unconscious and unresponsive 41-year-old woman at the Rivera Motor Inn — located on Atlantic Avenue at Cleveland Street — at around 8:30 a.m. on April 20, after receiving a report of an injury at the hotel, according to a police spokesperson.
Emergency medical personnel pronounced the woman dead at the scene, according to the spokesperson, who added that no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
The spokesperson did not immediately respond to an inquiry about whether or not the woman has been identified, and a rep from the Office of Chief Medical Examiner did not immediately respond to an inquiry about whether or not the Medical Examiner has determined the cause of death.
An employee who answered the phone at the hotel on Monday declined to comment.
