Cops are hunting the creep who sexually assaulted a woman inside her Prospect Heights apartment building on Sunday.
The victim, 27, told police she first spotted the lowlife loitering outside her building near Underhill Avenue and St. John’s Place at 11:45 p.m. on April 21, before he followed her inside the building and then up to the floor where she lived, cops said.
That’s when the sleazebag launched his assault, pushing her to the ground and sticking his finger inside of her, before she managed to fight him off, according to a spokesman for the police department.
The reprobate fled afterwards, while paramedics arrived and treated the victim, cops said.
Investigators have released surveillance footage of a suspect they’re seeking on sex abuse charges, who they’ve described as five-foot, seven-inches tall, and weighing between 175–200 pounds.
