Talk about a small-time crook.

Cops are hunting for the five-foot-three-inch-tall gunman who stole hundreds of dollars while robbing a Crown Heights beauty parlor at gunpoint on Jan. 4.

The diminutive delinquent waddled into the Nostrand Avenue salon near Park Place at 3:05 pm, locked the front door, then drew a gun and demanded loot from the six people inside, police said.

The pistol-packing pipsqueak nabbed $230 from his victims before forcing them into a back room that he locked them inside before making his escape, according to authorities.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the CrimeStoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com, on Twitter @NYPDTips or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls are confidential.

Reach reporter Colin Mixson at cmixson@cnglocal.com or by calling (718) 260-4505.
