Keep hustlin’!

Artists: how much do you charge for a painting? How much for a print? How much for this watercolor masterpiece of a manatee (pictured above)? It can be a tricky question, but today’s workshop “The Price is Right,” hosted by the artist group Gowanus Swim Society, will teach you how to choose a price point, make a budget, and apply for grants.

Club music

The Bushwick Book Club — a group that makes monthly art inspired by literature — celebrates its 10th anniversary with a musical tribute to Kurt Vonnegut’s 1976 science-fiction novel “Slapstick.” The night will feature a puppet show, a cake, a cartoon, and at least a dozen people playing original songs.

8 pm at Mirror In The Woods (575 Union St. between Nevins Street and Third Avenue in Gowanus, www.bushwickbookclub.com). $10.

The manatee with the golden gun: What is a fair price for this watercolor? Artists can learn how to price their work at the Old Stone House on Jan. 20.
