The SUNY Downstate Medical Center’s University Hospital of Brooklyn held a Cultural Health Fair to celebrate the center’s patient diversity and committed staff.
The celebration, the largest in SUNY Downstate history, with hundreds of attendees, was held to commemorate National Hospital Week.
Along with the center’s first-ever parade, health tests were made available to attendees along Lenox Road, including screenings for stroke, asthma, prostate cancer and HIV.
SUNY Downstate Medical Center is located at 450 Clarkson Avenue.
