“Outstanding” individuals were honored for their service to Brooklyn youth during a community tribute in Mill Basin, presented by the Madison Square Boys & Girls Club.
The awards marked the group’s annual dinner dance at El Caribe Country Club, 5945 Strickland Avenue.
The honorees were: Richard Sheirer, senior vice president, Giuliani Partners, LLC, “Man of the Year”; Delia Hunley−Adossa, executive director, Brooklyn Endeavor Experience, “Woman of the Year”; Danny King, president⁄CEO, Federation of Multicultural Programs, “Exemplary Leadership”; and Caple Spence, executive director, Local Development Corporation of Crown Heights, “Entrepreneur.”
The group’s “2009 Youth of the Year” included Malawa Johnson, Ciliena Nunes and Karion Smith.
