The weekender! Here’s what you should do on Saturday and Sunday

It’s going to be a great weekend, but that doesn’t mean you don’t The Weekender:

• Go to Greenpoint and eat a great Vietnamese sandwich.

• Enjoy a great record store in Williamsburg before it relocates a block away.

• Vote for some Brooklyn filmmakers in a Netflix contest.

• Go to Bay Ridge and enjoy some cupcakes!

• Check out the new Cafe Grumpy in Park Slope.

• If we get another June shower, read some great poetry from our poet laureate short list.

• The Ringling Bros. circus is in town in Coney Island. Mike McLaughlin raved, while Dooley didn’t.

• On Saturday, jump on the free ferry to Governors Island.

• See “Do the Right Thing” at Cafe Habana or “Bottle Shock” at Enoteca on Court Street on Sunday.

• It’s not Father’s Day, but you can still bake Sweet Melissa’s cookies!

• There’s always the Brooklyn Flea on Saturday in Fort Greene and Artists and Fleas in Williamsburg.

And if you must stay inside:

As always, these and other great events are in our exclusive family calendar, our great nightlife calendar, and our matchless events calendar.
