Aisle be darned

Downtown

Ernest Fluker and Crystal Wiggins got married on Dec. 9, 1991, but never made the walk down the aisle. Soon after their “I do’s,” Ernie shipped out to serve in the first Gulf War (you know, the good one). Now nearly 20 years later, the happy couple got its dream wedding at Morton’s in Downtown. The nuptials were presided over by Joe Roken, Morton’s general manager (and alcohol enabler of our outgoing editor) and attended by more than 50 family and friends — and, of course, Borough President Markowitz, who had the requisite proclamation. Standing O wishes the couple a long and happy life together — though an invite woulda been nice, you know!
