Two-car crack-up sends 4 to hospital

Paramedics were called to the corner of Nostrand Avenue and Shore Parkway Saturday after two cars crunched into one another. Officials said that at least four people were rushed to area hospitals following the afternoon crash between a silver Honda and a black Jaguar. None of the injuries were considered life threatening. Witnesses alleged that the Jaguar was turning from Shore Parkway onto Nostrand Avenue when he was hit by the Honda, who reportedly sped through a red light. Upon impact, the cars spun around; ending up side by side at the corner, officials said. It was unclear if any summonses or arrests had been filed against the two motorists as this paper went to press.
