Two men wanted for allegedly assaulting a 68-year old in New Lots: NYPD

The police are calling for the public’s help to find a pair of men who allegedly assaulted a victim with weapons in New Lots.

According to police reports, around 3:50 a.m. on Aug. 11, two unknown individuals walked up to a 68-year old man near Montauk Avenue and Pitkin Avenue.

One of the attackers hit the victim in the face and body with a stick as the other assailant struck him with an “unknown object.”

The two attackers then ran westbound on Pitkin Avenue, toward Atkins Street. Paramedics brought the victim to NYC Health+Hospitals/Kings County in an ambulance for treatment.

Per NYPD data, there have been 707 felony assaults and 828 misdemeanor assaults in the 75th Precinct so far this year.
