Brooklynites struck by big news from abroad are beginning to organize here.
Last month, the Museum of London handed over the remains of “Verva,” a descendant of the Kadamba royal family which ruled parts of India from the fourth to six centuries, to the London unit of the Kadamba Coterie.
On Jan. 12, there will be a meeting for members of Kadamba Coterie here at Manhattan’s New Yorker Hotel to form a working committee in New York to spread the message of the Kadamba dynasty in light of this recent development.
The meeting will be held at 2 p.m. at the hotel, located at 481 Eighth Ave. For more information, contact Ravindra Nath Raiker at 718-450-6726.
