Weekly events at Barnes & Noble Park Slope

Barnes & Noble Park Slope invites the public to participate in its weekly events. Here’s what’s on tap this week:

Meeting Group: Recipe Club, February 4, 7 p.m. Local authors Andrea Israel and Nancy Garfinkel are bringing the Recipe Club, based on their popular novel, to Park Slope. Share your personal stories and recipes. Aspiring writers are encouraged to participate. Teenagers are welcome.

Storytime: Valentine’s Day Storytime, February 6, 11 a.m. Bring your lovebugs to the store for a special storytime featuring “The Legend of Lyla the Lovesick Ladybug,” followed by Valentine’s Day activities.

Storytime: Ryan and Robbie’s Bike Ride Adventure & Lao Lao’s Chinese Secrets, February 9, 10 a.m. Storytime with children’s author Roger Hackett, who will read his enlightening multicultural tale. For children ages five to nine. School classes are asked to RSVP to 718-832-9074.
