Sweet songs and a glittering fir kicked off holiday celebrations at the Transit Garden in Carroll Gardens.
The young and the young-at-heart joined festive forces to celebrate the season of good cheer with a community revel at the urban oasis, Smith Street and Second Place, where they sang Christmas carols and illuminated a Yuletide pine.
Refreshments warmed the occasion.
