A teen brandished a handgun on Third Place and Henry Street on Dec. 12.
Officer Cedric Brooks saw a 15-year-old display a Smith and Wesson .40-caliber pistol at around 3:28 pm, and quickly arrested the misguided youth.
Apples picked
Someone burglarized a Baltic Street home on Dec. 9, stealing computers.
The 23-year-old victim told cops she left her home at around 3 pm and returned at 8:30 pm to find her Apple MacBook and Apple MacBook Pro gone. Cops said the worm entered through a front window, using the fire escape.
Tired out
A tire and rim thief struck at least twice:
• The creep hit a 2009 Honda sedan on Clinton Street near Pacific Street sometime between 5:30 pm on Dec. 7 and 7:30 am the next day, stealing two tires and two rims worth $1,500, according to the vehicle’s 40-year-old victim.
• During the same time period, the jerk also took all four wheels off a 2008 Honda Accord on President Street near Hoyt Street, the car’s wheelie-annoyed 59-year-old owner told police.
Phone plucked
Someone stole a woman’s cellphone on Hicks Street on Dec. 8.
The 44-year-old victim told cops she was near Pacific Street at 5 pm with her kids when a man reached in her pocket and extracted her LG phone.
Bike bozo
Someone gershed bicycles and other equipment from in front of a Warren Street home on Dec. 8.
The 52-year-old victim told cops that the creep made off with two bikes locked to a front gate of the home between Henry and Clinton streets at around 9 am. The thief also took five bicycle helmets, an electric leaf blower, and two scooters. The victim estimated the booty’s value at over $2,500.
Bond bag boob
Someone ripped off a woman’s handbag on Bond Street on Dec. 4.
The 18-year-old victim said she was near Union Street at around 11:30 pm when a man suddenly grabbed her bag, getting an iPhone, $200, a debit card, sketchbook, makeup, and an unidentified novel.
