Youngsters have a ‘field day’ in Bergen Beach

Fit−smart Public School 254 students from Sheepshead Bay locked friendly horns over a tug−o−war battle, relay races and sprint dashes – among other the fun games – during a field day at the Malone Center in Bergen Beach.

The crisp, spring weather provided a perfect backdrop for budding athletes to challenge their skills and sportsmanship in a cornucopia of special events and activities at the community facility, Bergen Avenue and Avenue X.
