BrooklynPaper.com is best Web site finalist!

The Brooklyn Paper

The Web site you’re now reading is one of the three best weekly paper sites in the country, two national magazines announced on Tuesday.

Just over a year after its complete redesign, BrooklynPaper.com has been named one of three finalists in the best weekly newspaper–affiliated Web site category in the national EPpy Awards competition, sponsored by Editor & Publisher and Mediaweek magazines.

The 13-year-old contest honors the best newspaper, television, magazine and radio company Web sites.

The other finalists in the BrooklynPaper.com's category are Wicked Local Somerville (published by GateHouse Media New England) and Independent.com (published by the Santa Barbara Independent).

The winner will be announced at the Interactive Media Conference on May 15 in Las Vegas (and you can be sure of one thing: If we win, that award is one thing that won’t be staying in Vegas!)
