Despite the economy, work continues at two key eateries on Seventh Avenue in the South Slope, including Hanco’s Vietnamese Sandwiches at the corner of 10th Street, and Brook–vin, the new wine bar between 11th and 12th streets.
As The Brooklyn Paper reported earlier this fall, Hanco’s, the second outpost in the Carroll Gardens-based sandwich empire, will take over the former Tea Lounge location, and Brook–vin, an offshoot of Big Nose, Full Body wine shop, will open in the former Cafe Eleven.
