11th Street revels in the summer sunshine

Festive frolickers soaked in equal parts of sunshine and community spirit during a block party along 11th Street.

The neighborhood bustled with fun-filled frolics as mom, dad and the kids rose to the outdoor extravaganza between 4th and 5th streets.

While older merrymakers worked on their suntans and cooked up grilled goodies on the barbie, the pint-sized crowd enjoyed games, sports tourneys and more along the traffic free stretch.
